It is the most consistent method for delivering accurate results. Beekeepers, apiary inspectors, and scientists throughout North America commonly practice this method.
To ensure accuracy, beekeepers should conduct multiple sampling tests based on the scale of the apiary.
Recommended sample colonies are collected from the center and the edges of the apiary.
