Product Description
Our Varrox oxalic acid vaporizer is a reliable beekeeping tool for Varroa mite control. When used with Myth-bee oxalic acid dihydrate, it is great for the winter broodless period for bees. The entire treatment process is completed in 15 minutes, allowing your bees to overwinter without mites.
The OA Vaporizer has side wings that stop it from tipping in the hive. This keeps the mite treatment safe and stable. It generates the right amount of oxalic acid vapor to effectively control mites.
Please be aware that oxalic acid fumes are harmful to humans. If you plan to use this bee tool to vaporize oxalic acid in an apiary, please always wear safety goggles and a mask.
How to Use Varrox Oxalic Acid Vaporizer for Bees?
1. Put 1 gram of oxalic acid into the vaporizer's pan for each brood chamber.
2. Insert it into the hive entrance and use rags or foam to seal the entrance.
3. Connect the leads to a 12 V car battery or deep cycle battery and heat for 2.5 minutes
4. Turn off the power source and leave the vaporizer in the hive for an additional 2 minutes. We wait for the remaining vapor to settle.
5. Remove the vaporizer and keep the hive sealed for at least another 10 minutes. Ensure the vapor has fully spread out and condensed on the bee mites.
