Product Description

Apiphos Coumaphos Varroa Treatment Strips

Apiphos strips, a proven coumaphos varroa treatment, will make you feel confident in defending pests in your apiary. It's another seasonal defense against Varroa mites and Tropilaelaps mites in chemical ways. The sustained-release fiber strip works continuously inside the hive by disrupting parasites' neural systems.

Long-Lasting Beekeeping Pest Control

Each Apiphos strip can last 4 to 6 weeks to defend against beekeeping pests. You don't need to reopen the beehive to replace any extra strips. Honey bees groom each other daily and engage in widespread social contact. They will contact the strips and disperse the active substance across the entire bee colony.

The Only Content to Handle Small Hive Beetle Treatment

You can take a few steps to set traps with Apiphos strips at the hive bottom board. Our adaptable small hive beetle treatment methods make this a trusted tool for clean, confident beehive pest management.

Many countries, such as the US and Canada, have already accepted the use of this ingredient in beekeeping. We welcome distributors to discuss product registration suitability.

Apiphos Safety Protection and First Aid Guidelines:

Although Apiphos contains subtle coumaphos, beekeepers should avoid direct contact with it, as it can cause neurotoxicity over time. Specifically, we should avoid skin contact and adsorption. We have set the following guidelines:

● Core Protection Before Operation of Apiphos

1. You must wear nitrile or rubber gloves. Leather or fabric gloves are prohibited because they can absorb the content easily.

2. Wearing long pants and sleeved shirts will help protect your skin. Smoking, eating, or scratching your eyes is strictly prohibited while applying the treatment.

3. Timing: Do not use during honey harvesting when honey supers are installed in the brood frames. You can put the honey supers back on the hive at least 14 days after treatment.

● 3-Step First Aid when you get direct exposure to Apiphos

1. Take off any affected clothing immediately and keep it away from you. Wash your skin with soap and cold water for 15 minutes since cold water slows down absorption.

2. Check your pupils: If you observe pinpoint pupils, drooling, nausea, or muscle spasms, you may have been poisoned.

3. Seek medical help immediately if possible. Clearly tell the doctor that you were exposed to the substance that you might be suffering signs of poisoning. Your doctor may prescribe atropine for you. Alternatively, you might prepare these medications ahead of time to prevent poisoning.
